APPLY ONLINE FOR A VCF COMMUNITY FUND GRANT
We are pleased to offer the option of online applications for the Basic Human Needs, Successful Communities and Sustainable Communities grants rounds of the VCF Community Fund. Please note that you can submit your application by surface mail instead of using this online form.
Some things to keep in mind before you begin the online application process:
- When you first access the online application form, you will be asked to fill out an eligibility quiz to determine if your organization meets the grant requirements. Please answer all of the questions to proceed. Once you have successfully completed the eligibility quiz, you will be able to access the grant application form. If you have questions about your project and its applicability to this grant round, please contact the Community Grantmaking staff or click the "contact us" link within the online grant form.
- The form consists of five pages and you must complete ALL sections, including uploading attachments on page five. Pages one and two resemble a coversheet asking general questions about your organization and project. Pages three, four, and five provide information on what information is required to complete your application. Specific directions are included on the form. If you are unable to attach all required attachments (such as your project narrative, board of directors, résumés, supporting documents, etc.), please view the Online Application FAQ for suggestions.
- You do not have to complete the entire application at one time. You may save your application by clicking the "Save and Finish Later" button at the bottom of the application form. The program will prompt you to create an account.
- When you are satisfied that your application is complete, click the "Review and Submit" button at the bottom of the last page. After you have reviewed your application, click the "Submit" button. We suggest you print a copy of your application for your records. An automated email will be sent to you when we retrieve your application.
