The Philanthropic Leadership Fund

The Philanthropic Leadership Fund supports innovative programs, publications, and services aimed at helping fundholders and other grantmakers learn about community needs and opportunities, lead by nurturing innovative practices, and grow Vermont’s philanthropic capital.

The services and products that come from this fund benefit all Vermont-focused philanthropists, and are supported by the generous contributions of VCF fundholders.

PLF-supported products include:

• The Understanding Vermont publication, which provides philanthropists and other grantmakers with information on some of the state’s most pressing issues as reflected in articles, studies, and conversations with Vermonters from all walks of life.
  
• The Vermont Directory of Foundations - a print and online resource that can be used to find research information on grantmakers that have a primary address in Vermont, as well as those that are not located in Vermont but who give in Vermont.
