    Young women honored by the Vermont Women’s Fund with the Holly D. Miller Award

    Barrows Family donates $1 million to Copley Hospital

    Copley Hospital officials today announced that it has received a $1 million gift in honor of Robert S. Barrows, former owner of Johnson Woolen Mills. The gift, which was made by Robert’s children, Vicki Barrows Maitre and Del Barrows with his wife Linda, primarily through their charitable funds at the Vermont Community Foundation, will go toward the upcoming renovation of Copley’s Emergency Department.
