GIVING TO THE SAMARA FUND
The Samara Fund at the Vermont Community Foundation offers people several ways to support Vermont’s LGBT community. Interested donors can write a check or give stocks, real estate, personal property, or insurance proceeds.
You can also consider including the Samara Fund in your estate planning by designating it as a beneficiary of your will or life insurance policy plan. Alternatively, donors can establish a flexible living trust or charitable remainder trust that provides assets to the Samara Fund while allowing donors to maintain full use and benefit of those assets during their lifetime.

However you give, your tax-deductible gift will become part of a permanent legacy that benefits the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities of Vermont both today and in the future.
