The Vermont Community Foundation Announces 15 Grants to Nonprofits Across the State Through Its Spark! Connecting Community Grants Program
The Vermont Community Foundation announced today that—in partnership with some of its fundholders—it has awarded a total of $37,720.39 in Spark! Connecting Community grants to 15 nonprofit organizations for local projects in communities across the state, including some nonprofits that serve residents in multiple counties.

Funding Available for Organizations in the Northeast Kingdom through the Northeast Kingdom Fund
Funding is now available for organizations and projects in Orleans, Essex, and Caledonia Counties through the Northeast Kingdom Fund at the Vermont Community Foundation. Mary Moran Joins McClure Foundation Board of Directors
The J. Warren & Lois McClure Foundation, a supporting organization of the Vermont Community Foundation, welcomed Mary Moran to its board of directors in May. Moran has a long history in public education and has served the Rutland City Public Schools since 1996, first as Assistant Superintendent and, since March 2000, as Superintendent of Education.

Con Hogan 2018 Award Nominations Close on June 26th & Update on Former Recipient Holly Morehouse
Holly Morehouse, co-founder and executive director of Vermont Afterschool, Inc , used the $15,000 Con Hogan cash award she received last year to continue her research on youth programs in Finland that will inform her work here in Vermont. Nominations for the 2018 award are open until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26th.

The Vermont Women’s Fund Announces $102,900 in Competitive Grants
