Watch the 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting

2021 AM title slide v2

Ah the best laid plans, we had hoped to be gathering together, eating BBQ family-style, celebrating the work of philanthropy, celebrating our neighbors, celebrating community, but that's not what was in store for us and not what was in store for our communities and the universe of philanthropy and our partners right now. Dan Smith, President and CEO, Vermont Community Foundation

On September 14, the Vermont Community Foundation hosted its Annual Meeting in an albeit, very "2021-fashion"—on a virtual Zoom call, powered by a 30-minute video highlighting the amazing work of the Foundation's fundholders and partners over the last 18 months.

Throughout the event, attendees submitted their own memories—youth mentoring programs pivoting to keep mentors and mentees safe; how open-minded and inclusive Vermont's young people are, and how important it is to support the next generation of nonprofit and business leaders; communications union districts accelerating access to broadband fueled by the help of volunteers; and the innovative thinking of individuals and nonprofits across the spectrum, from food assistance to the production of personal protective equipment.

We encourage you to take the time to watch the video, and as always, reach out to [email protected] with any questions about the amazing work over the last year plus!
