Why should you consider a nonprofit reserve or endowment fund (or both!) at the VCF?

World-class Investment Management: We work with an independent investment firm that manages $35 billion in assets and offers low-fee services to our fundholders.

Fund Management Services: We provide basic administrative services and provide you with technical assistance for various types of gifts, including appreciated securities, bequests, and more.

Planned Giving Partnerships: Nonprofits with a VCF fund can use our no-cost planned giving partnership program.

Boost Donor Confidence: A fund at the VCF affiliates your organization with a respected statewide charity, instilling trust with prospective donors through our mission and history of reliable stewardship

Nonprofits with a VCF fund have access to resources for establishing a turnkey planned giving program.

Requires no upfront investment, additional staff training, or organizational liability. We handle all of the administrative and tax reporting details for you.

Our staff will work with you and your donors to arrange a variety of gift vehicles

Charitable Gift Annuities pay an annuity to the donor during their lifetime and will eventually support the activities of your organization.

Charitable Remainder Trusts pay quarterly checks to donors, and at the end of the term, the remaining assets roll into a VCF fund that supports your organization.

Charitable Lead Trusts make annual distributions to a VCF fund for the benefit of your organization and provide a way for your donor to transfer assets to their heirs at a reduced tax rate.
